Summary:
Aashita Enterprises runs a cross-border supply chain across India, China, Indonesia and Vietnam, and the numbers decisions get made on come out of systems that were never designed to talk to each other. This role is about making that data trustworthy: consistent definitions, tests that fail loudly, and lineage someone can follow when a figure looks wrong.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Pipelines
- Build and maintain ingestion from ERP, sourcing and logistics systems.
- Model data in dbt with tests that catch bad data at the boundary.
- Keep pipelines idempotent and safe to re-run.
2. The warehouse
- Own table design, partitioning and query performance as volumes grow.
- Keep one agreed definition per metric across the group.
3. Supporting the business
- Work with operations and finance to understand what a number is for.
- Make lineage traceable so a disputed figure can be checked.
